Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Saluda Outfitters and Green River Eddy’s Tap Room & Grill.
December is a great time to be in Saluda, N.C. This historic little town goes all out to celebrate the holidays and our retail store and taproom are happy to participate.
With Sunday, Dec. 1, landing on our Black Friday Weekend Blowout Sale, you will still have time to take advantage of those huge discounts on everything from bicycles to kayaks to tons of Christmas gift ideas from the apparel, accessory, shoe and gear departments.
We are listing some End of the Year items as low as half price! If they haven’t been snatched up already by keen-eyed shoppers, we may still have some below MSRP Sailfin Stand Up Paddle Boards or our remaining fleet of Pyranha kayaks. Our Sailfins come in a carry bag that make it easy to get to the river or lake and come complete with paddle and air pump. Our PFD’s (personal floatation devices including those for water loving pups) are 20% off.
Also, check out our bicycle sale before shopping elsewhere and you may find the perfect gift for a loved one who has been eyeing a fabulous Giant or Liv bicycle but hasn’t been able to afford one full price! We’ve got the helmets and accessories to go with your bike purchase, also. Big discounts in this department through December. We will put a bike under your tree for a great price!
Discounted merchandise through Dec. 1 includes 20% off our very best brands of fleece, vests, and jackets from Kuhl, Mountain Khakis and Marmot. Our clearance room also offers some great deals on clothing and shoes.
Throughout December you will find we have made holiday shopping fun and easy by posting signs around the store showing $30 and under suggested items like our Richardson beanies with the SO logo, Red Clay Soap (made from the milk of adorable little goats milk from a farm in Tryon and great for your skin) and Modern Forestry soy candles that carry the aromas of the holiday season such as Deck the Halls and Holly Wreath. Our Chandler 4 Corners decorative pillows also make fantastic gifts, especially for your mountain retreat.
Our clothing buyer has gone all out to bring the nicest, most comfortable and warmest clothing items into the store for sale through the winter months. And, don’t forget Saluda Outfitters is the ONLY shoe store in the Saluda area. We have new waterproof Sorel shoes and boots, as well as Keen, Chaco and Olukai — all great brands of shoes and boots.
Believe it or not—we actually have chunks of coal, nicely decorated and ready to drop into stockings of those who have landed on Santa’s Naughty List this year! They make the perfect gag gift or simply a reminder to be good all year.
