Celebrate summer in Saluda with a July 4th week-long celebration of live music at Saluda Outfitter’s outdoor music venue located on the deck of Green River Eddy’s Taproom & Grill. We are expanding our live music by inviting musicians and bands to join us from Thursday to Sunday evenings during that week. We will also keep the grill open providing food, music, drink and fun for the entire family. Our music will begin around 5:30 continuing until 8:30 or 9 p.m.
Thursday, July 4, we’ll have John Cannon from Panama City Beach, Fla., as a special guest. Cannon is a regular at local Florida hot spots Uncle Ernies and Schooners. A vocalist and guitarist, he also performs as part of the duo Stainless Steel. Join us for some 4th of July fun on the deck to reminisce to some great music ranging from The Beatles to Bob Seger to Cold Play.
Friday, July 5, we’ll see the popular Charlotte-based duo, Mark n’ Brian return to our stage. Mark Cantrell and Brian Lewis of Blind Manifest will rock the deck with some great music.
They will be followed on Saturday, July 6, by the Tryon-based Marshall Ballew Band where you will hear the talented multi-instrumentalist with Appalachian roots share his talents on the guitar, banjo, fiddle, Dobro and more. Joining Ballew will be band members Jeff Haslam, Woody Cowan and Philip Correll. Join us for some lively fun on Coon Dog Day and try out our Cooney Dog and other specials from the grill. Come watch the parade from our deck and stay for lunch.
As a truly special event, we’ve added a Sunday, July 7, show bringing back to town by request the talented Freddie Vanderford and Brandon Turner. This duo from Buffalo, S.C., (near Spartanburg) returns to the deck this summer with some masterful harmonica playing and impeccable rhythm and acoustic guitar. We can’t wait to hear some more award winning blues. Check our full July music listing elsewhere in this publication.
