Happy July from Saluda Outfitters! We are ready to celebrate, kicking off the July Fourth weekend with three evenings of live music on our expansive outdoor deck, while our visitors enjoy dinner from Green River Eddy’s Tap Room & Grill.
We start out Friday evening 6-9 with Mo-MoJo Blues Band that plans to rock the deck with some great dance tunes, followed on Saturday the Fourth of July with some great entertainment by our long-time and faithful friends, Second Souls. We’ve added a special performance, too, by The Laurel Mountain Duo from 4-5:30 Saturday. We’re adding a Sunday surprise band, bringing back those truly musically talented local youngsters—AstroSauce!
It is summer and we are working to make your holiday visit fun and relaxing, as well as providing a safe space for you and your family to shop, eat and enjoy life.
Summer brings some pretty neat clothing to our retail section. For the first time at the Outfitters we’ve added Meridian Line tees and tanks for women. These are soft, comfortable and affordable tees with wonderful designs in late summer colors. We also have a new shipment of Saluda Outfitters Richardson‘s hats coming in with our new SO leather logo patch.
The Kuhl men’s and women’s summer shipments are selling fast. We have a few shorts and tops left in Howler Bros. and we’ve just ordered a new shipment of Elan for women!
Finally the summer shipment of Astral shoes delivers in July. This brand has sold out across the country so get these while we have them in our exclusive shoe department.
Inside Saluda Outfitters we are working on revitalizing our bike shop and doing some renovations that will surprise everyone.
Our grill has some new beers on tap and new items on the menu. If you haven’t had one of our 1/2-pound, hand-pattied burgers, you have been missing out. For the kiddies, we’ve added a cheese quesadilla to the menu and for the adults a chicken quesadilla. There are Mexican tacos, Thai pork tacos, chicken, shrimp and Mahi tacos. Our appetizer list has grown and we still have the staples—hot dogs and fries.
