JUNE AT THE SO
Saluda Outfitters is proud to announce that $2,200 was raised during its May 15 benefit music festival to help the Blue Ridge Humane Society provide much needed services to rescued animals in our area. This was possible due to the cooperation of the City of Saluda and its residents and all the bands and other volunteers who graciously gave of their time and talents to make it a huge success. That money will help the nonprofit move forward with services to help animals and animal caregivers after not being able to fund raise during the pandemic.
Entertainment at SO and GRE
As summer visitation to the area picks up, we’ve begun to expand our food and music offerings. Green River Eddy’s Tap Room & Grill is open seven days a week with an expanded food menu as well as additional drink sales that now include beer, wine and cocktails.
We have kicked off our Friday evening music from 7-10 p.m. and continue to bring in ever better bands for our popular Saturday live music shows as we provide opportunities for local musicians to showcase their talents. For information on booking a gig with us, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information, a short bio and link to your music.
Retail has really ramped up with lots of summer apparel, shoes and gear arriving daily. June is a special month for Dad so don’t forget that there is always something for the special men in your life at Saluda Outfitters. If you are not sure about sizing, just buy Dad a nice gift card and let him choose from the bar, restaurant or retail. If it is camping, fly fishing or hiking gear he prefers, we have a wide selection.
