Oh my, it is September and already back to school for the kiddos and a time for taking a deep breath and relaxing for parents. Saluda Outfitters has some great brands for back to school, including a select group of shoes and water proof boots on sale this month. You can also check in to see if our fall apparel has arrived as we are expecting items any day. Yes, fall is headed our way with winter not far behind and we are happy to help you prepare for cooler days and evenings.

In addition to lots of outdoor gear, our store offers fishing lures and supplies. Come by when you are ready to enjoy some great fishing in the WNC area.

Labor Day Sales: Don’t miss out on some great buys over Labor Day Weekend. The outfitter will be having a “Broken Size Run” sale at 20 percent off.  Store Manager Alex Saunders says it isn’t like the items didn’t sell; it is just that there are only one or two of each of what were the most popular items left in the store. If it fits you, you’re lucky and we are, too!

Saluda Smoke Wagon: This summer we upgraded our food truck at Green River Eddy’s Tap Room & Grill, providing more space for our grills and smokers. Our staff has worked hard to diversify our menu, as well, offering a selection of tacos, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. While we cook in the food truck, we have a commercial kitchen for prep work and a set up that matches any restaurant around.

Our food truck service is different than most in that you order inside the tap room, choose your seat indoors or outdoors on our expansive deck and your food is carried directly to your table. There’s no standing at the food truck window waiting on your order; no standing in inclement weather. While your order is being prepared, you can enjoy one of the many craft beers on tap, a glass of wine or a specialty cocktail. We have had many complements on our tap room atmosphere and it is always a fun place to bring family, friends and even your four-legged buddies as we are very pet friendly (on leash).

Entertainment at Saluda Outfitters includes live music every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 p.m. year round and we have both an indoor and outdoor stage so we never have to cancel due to weather. Also, there is NEVER a cover charge for our entertainment. Downstairs, we also have a pool table as added entertainment.

Bike Shop: As a Giant Bicycle dealer, Saluda Outfitters offers a variety of bikes, parts and accessories. We can also order your desired bike so come in today and get ready to enjoy the great outdoors area of Saluda and Western North Carolina.
