This spring is going to be very exciting around Saluda. There is much activity in store. In addition to some renovations about to begin at Saluda Outfitters as we celebrate our fifth year in business, Saluda just seems to be coming alive with lots of new business and opportunities.

In May, we’ll celebrate Cinco de Mayo (Thursday, May 5) at Green River Eddy’s Tap Room & Grill. The ever popular Saluda Arts Festival is returning (Saturday, May 21) and some 85 local artists will have their works on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saluda Outfitters is proud to be a sponsor of this one-day event that is expected to draw some 4,000 people to town. Make sure to mark Eddy’s down as a great place to get lunch, a cold brew or non-alcoholic drink including our own Southern style homemade sweet tea. We’ll have plenty of seating outside on our beautiful deck overlooking the entry to Main Street and live music in the evening from 7-10.

Then there is Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-30), which is always a great time to kick back and take a vacation or just a staycation to eat good local food and listen to some great live music on our expansive outdoor deck. For more entertainment, you can trot downstairs and play a game of pool or just relax and watch your favorite sport on one of our five large TVs.
