About us

It's Not Just a Store - It's A Popular Destination

Since 2017, Saluda Outfitters has served the historic town of Saluda with its outdoor adventure needs. The business has continued to evolve and expand, anticipating the needs of the community. Added were Green River Eddy's Tap Room and Grill, an expansive deck overlooking the entrance to Main Street, and both an inside and outside stage for free live performances by area bands and talented musicians. The store offers quality apparel including adult and children's logo tees and hoodies, an awesome line of footwear, outdoor activity supplies and equipment for camping, hiking, fishing and more. A family-friendly and pet friendly operation, there is a pool table downstairs, a gem mine in the back parking area along with other games like corn hole to keep the entire family entertained. The grill and taproom offer a wide variety of craft beers, cocktails, wine and a menu that varies by season provided by a talented chef.

Unexpected gem! Great food including for us picky vegetarians, maybe a dozen local beers on tap, and co-located in Saluda Outfitters so a little shopping while you're there. Food is ordered at the bar, cooked in a permanent food truck, and delivered to your table...

We stopped in on Mother's Day, it was just a perfect place to relax and enjoy Mother Nature sitting outside or in. Our bartender was very sweet, mixed drinks and beers were reasonably priced, they have music on Fri/Sat nights. We look forward to returning on a music night.

Just happened to find this gem after hiking in Saluda. Cool outdoor wear, shoes and jackets. PLUS beer on tap!!! The owners were there working hard on the place. Super friendly people. Love the vibe they've created here.
